Focus on Benefits While Selling

One of the most important things, right off the bat here, is to focus on the benefits and the problems you are solving for your ideal customer.

If you are not solving a problem or benefiting the customer in some way, then what is the point of your business?

The  bigger the problem you are solving, the more people will pay for it and the more people you will get to buy.

Many people just jump right into the business without sitting down and thinking about this, when that is actually the most important thing you should realize as it will help with your ads, your social media, your website, your blog, your landing pages and more... Just by knowing the problems you are solving!

If you are looking for a way to figure out these problems that you are solving, try this:

#1: Create a list of your ideal customer(s) and write them down in as much detail as you can.

#2: Create another list of these people's 5 largest problems.

#3: Figure out how your product or service solves these 5 major problems in their life.

#4: Figure out how they would feel if they had these problems solved in their life.

#5: Use these emotions and the information to start making content, writing blogs, running ads, etc. You can use this stuff as the backbone to almost anything that you do!

Do The Unexpected to Get Attention

With so many people running ads and creating content now a days, you have to figure out how to stand out from the crowd and get the attention that is getting harder to get.. You can do that by focusing on doing the things that are most unexpected to your ideal customers.

When you do what is unexpected, it catches their attention and makes them stay to read or watch your content!

So, what exactly can you do to capture their attention? According to Billy Gene, there are three ways to do so that all work really well, trust me I tested them as well as many other people!

The first thing is changing your environment of your videos. Just go somewhere that other people don't normally go. Walk outside to a park or cool scenery, go to the mall, do it in the shower (from the head up)... just figure out somewhere unique and go for it!

Just look at the famous "here in my garage video" where Tai Lopez simply went out to his garage and filmed the video with his iPhone!

The other way to do the unexpected is to use props! Use something crazy, like the environment thing, the more crazy the better!

That is why people use money guns and giant checks, they demand attention!

Finally, try adding music to your ads! This will mostly just work for videos for content as you ad will likely get taken down for copyright, but there is a way around this and a few websites I can share with you if you wanna shoot me an email-- contact@profitingtools.com!

Using Scarcity.. The Right Way

Okay the next few are going to be short sections becasue they are pretty self explanatory, but just as important as the other two sections so stay listening!

Scarcity, I'm sure you have heard how well it works and that you should use it on all of your pages.

"have a count down"

"say there are only a few left"

That is true... only kind of. Consumers have gotten smarter and they don't have any reason to believe that there is only a few left, especially for a digital product, so wat do you do then?

Simple answer, tell them WHY it is scarce... can only a certain number of people know the strategy to make sure it works? Did you only print a certain number of copies?

Give them a reason to believe you, it will work much better!

Telling YOUR Story, A Relate-able One

Why do people buy the same things that their friends buy? Or why do they buy from people with large social media followings?

Because people buy from who they trust. Build their trust and they will buy.

How do you do that though? Simple, tell YOUR STORY and make sure you emphasize the relate-able parts such as your favorite hobbies or why you started and what PROBLEMS YOU WERE FACING.

People relate really well to a good story with problems and situations they also face, so focus on those things and think about your ideal customer when telling your story.

Another thing that will build their trust is to give them a reason to buy your product. WHY should they buy from you and not someone else?

What do you do different or how do you solve their problems better?

Also, including testimonials is a great way to build trust... don't have any customers for testimonials yet?

Easy, do work for free until you have enough testimonials, it will help build your worth and your skills at the same time too!

Educate and Entertain

The two things that will bring people the most value through your content, educate them on a topic you are knowledgeable about or entertain them in some way, make them smile!

Break down any page's content that you follow and realize that all of their content, if they have a large following, either educates people or entertains them in some way or another.

It is not rocket science! Just give them a reason to follow you!

The Things They Don't Teach You About Internet Marketing (Part 2)

7/22/2018

There are so many "strategies" out there for internet marketing and to be honest, most of them actually work.

The thing is that they are only giving you half of what you need to know in order to make these marketing strategies work.

Without these things that I am going to talk about in this blog, the results you will see through internet marketing might be sub-par or discouraging, as they were for me for the LONGEST time!

These things are what they DON'T teach you, but are actually more important to understand than the strategies for internet marketing themselves.

Marketing strategies change year to year, based on what is and isn't working. Consumer buying habits and the psychology behind why people buy don't change though.

That is the focus of this article, the continuation of my first article on the same topic, and you can read that by CLICKING HERE >>

So, I hope you enjoy and start putting to use these strategies as they will make or break your marketing game!

What They Don't Teach You About Internet Marketing Part 1
(Overview)

If you have the time, I would REALLY recommend reading the first half of the article first, so that you fully understand what I am teaching you and why!

You can do that by clicking this link >>

For those of you who are in a hurry and don't have time to read the first article right now, before jumping into part 2 of what they don't teach you about internet marketing, here is a quick overview of the main points.

(if you want to really understand them and start implementing them, I highly recommend reading the article though)

The first thing that I covered in part one was understanding that the best ads, or even just the best content, is content that educates the consumer or entertains them.

Educate them in your niche or on how your product/ service will solve their problems and entertain them at the same time by always doing something to make them smile!

When you combine both of these, that is when the magic happens!

The next thing I cover is to focus on the benefits of your product or service. To do this you can start off by explaining the problems they likely have and the solutions you can offer them or how you can get rid of those problems.

Finally, I talked about WHY, why should they trust you and why your product works.

Anyone can say that their product is the best in the niche, but WHY is it? Does it make their life easier, more systematic, how does it solve their biggest problem.

Don't forget to explain why your product or service works, what makes yours different then the other ones out there ? Do you have better tested strategies or do you have higher quality materials?

Using Scarcity the RIGHT WAY

I would almost want to put money on the fact that you have heard a million times to use scarcity in your marketing.

"Tell them there are only 3 left and it will make them want to buy faster."

That is true, to a certain degree.

Scarcity marketing used to work a lot better before everyone started to use it and people started to realize that most of the time they were lying to you.

Haven't you ever tried to refresh the page one of those countdown pages where they are counting down until you can't get the product or service? Half the time the timer just restarts back where it was, which means it will never reach zero. Meaning it really isn't scarce but they want you to think that it is!

Rather than just saying something is limited, when you actually give a reason to why it is limited, such as "only so many people can know these strategies before it will stop getting the same results, that is why I'm limiting the downloads of this course."

Another example would be that "there are only going to be 3000 copies of the book printable at this time so the orders are capped at 3000."

When you add that extra "why" to the scarcity, it allows the consumer to see why it is scarce and justify that they need to ACTUALLY buy it soon.

Telling YOUR Story

Who do people buy from? People they trust...

That is why these consumer trends, such as fidget spinners, do so well... because people start seeing all of their friends with them and trust that it is a good purchase.

How do you correlate this to business though?

You have to start telling YOUR story, sharing more about you and my you are doing what you are doing.

This helps people understand you on a personal level if you include interests, hobbies, and just general information about you and your skills.

When people know you better, they are less resistant to buying from you, that is why the biggest influencers on Instagram or YouTube don't have a problem selling anything, because they are trusted by their audience.

Start telling YOUR story, documenting what you are doing on a day to day basis and that is how you are going to start building trust.

Simplify Your Benefits

First question I should be asking in this section is do you know what problem your product or service is actually solving? Is it even solving a problem at all (you might wanna rethink what you are doing if the answer was no).

Once you figure out how your product or service benefits/ solves the consumers problem, you have to figure out how to simplify it into terms that are easy to understand so that they can relate to it and want to buy.

You want to make their choice easy by explaining the benefits so good that they see the value your product brings as even greater to them then the value of the amount of money they are paying for it.

Simplify your benefits into easy to understand and relate able terms and phrases.

Create a Common Enemy

You bond the most with those friends that have a common dislike to another person, say someone you graduated high school with... you can't really argue that because most friend groups have at least one person that they all have a common disliking for.

This works the same way in business. Your customer can relate to you better and are more likely to buy when you both have a common disliking for something and YOU know how to leverage that.

Lucky for you, I'll give you how to leverage it right now!

A great idea is to find a common problems or something a good amount of people dislike, such as a high price for something, and then leverage your product against it.

A great example is in clothing where you could say something along the lines of "Don't you hate when larger companies charge 3x more for a logo on the shirt?" This helps to establish the common enemy and then you can go on  and explain how it doesn't have to be that way thanks to your product!

BONUS: The Power of Controversy

Any big YouTube watchers reading this right now? Well, if you are you should know all about this buyers psychology tip, as many YouTubers use this when creating videos.

YouTubers will put a controversial title on their videos or they will have a controversial topic, such as "Is college worth it?" and then the people who agree are going to click because they want to hear what will justify their beliefs and the people who disagree will click on it as well so that they can argue and think how they are all wrong.

The only difference between YouTubers doing this and how you can market your business is that the viewer on YouTube is the "customer," and not someone who is paying!

This is a great way to get attention as both people who agree and disagree will consume the content!
Hey, thanks a ton for the support as usual guys! Look forward to talking with you all in the comments if you have any questions or see ya in the next blog post!

Thanks,
Taylor

What They Don't Teach You About Internet Marketing

7/19/2018

Whenever you Google strategies to grow online or how to better market your business online, there are a ton of basic things that come up on every single website:

"Be on every social media platform."

"Create good content"

"Be patient"

"Use hashtags"

"Use Facebook ads"

"Like other posts"

All of these basic things that everyone knows they need to be doing. What they don't tell you is how to actually get people to buy from you and how to run ads that actually work.

Sure you can set up an ad, but do you know what to write or how to get people to click/ watch that ad? Most likely not...

That is what I wanted to bring to your attention and help you find some basic psychology and tips that work for your ads.

To break the trend of showing some basic marketing content and dive deeper into what will ACTUALLY WORK for you!

Let's go!
Picture

What THEY Teach You About Online Marketing

They teach you pretty much the basics of what you can learn by spending some time on Google. Pretty simple stuff, important to know, yes, but it isn't life changing stuff.

You have to know how to run ads, best strategies for social media platforms and how to get followers on social media. But what happens when you go one step further and learn about the psychology of why people buy or what you need to include in your content and ads in order to help as many people as possible?

That is when people start to trade their money, which is essentially energy, much like time, for something they see to be more valuable to them (your product or service).

This is how you 10x your results in marketing, no matter who your target customer is!

What I Am Going To Teach You About Online Marketing

I am going to go over some of the most important things to know in terms of psychology of buyers and what they are looking for when they are being sold.

Truth is that people actually don't mind being sold, when it is done right. That is because even though they are giving up their money, they are trading it for something they see as even more valuable.

That has to be your focus when you are marketing and selling something, not "tricking them" into clicking buy, but instead knowing your product or service will bring them much more value than their money will.

Time to change the game of sales and marketing, this isn't about making you money but rather helping as many people as you can.

Do the latter and money will come to you, and much more than if you would have been focused on money.

Educate and Entertain

First thing to understand when starting to market online is you need to be incorporating education into your marketing as well as entertainment.

What do I mean by that?

Well, first you have to focus on educating them on whatever it is that you specialize in, or what your niche is. This helps SHOW them that you are not just talking and you actually know what you are doing.

Many people talk about what they can do but never SHOW any proof that they know what they are saying they know. The more you can show and educate the more they are going to trust you and want to buy from you.

A good example of this would be to send them a few free pieces of content, some free tips you see for their account, etc so that they can see your work or your expertise in the niche before buying your product or service.

The next thing, entertaining, is very simple as you just have to focus on building the relationship and making them smile.

Why do people buy from some YouTube or Instagram Influencers more than they do others?

Because those influencers have built trust with their audience and created that relationship that keeps people coming back to their page.

Make someone laugh, put together  a good skit, do whatever you have to do or add whatever you need to to your ads in order to get at least a little entertainment into them!

Focus On The Benefits

Crazy thing that people forget to do, tell people why their product or service is actually going to help them, make their life better or easier.

They are so worried about trying to get the right color on the "buy now" button that they forget that they are actually going to help someone by selling them the product or service.

Why would they buy, just because you are saying they should? If that is your strategy, they aren't going to buy, and that is why your sales are down.

You don't buy any random product that shows up in a Facebook ad, so why do you expect other people to and then get confused when they don't?

Start explaining your product will improve their life in some way.

A great way to do this is by explaining, or even better, showing, how it will solve the 5 biggest problems that they have!

Try this out, it will change your results forever!

WHY What You Are Doing or Why Your Product/ Service Works

Last thing for today, why are they supposed to trust you that this works? Well, that is also your job to show they WHY they should trust you, WHY it is different from other things out there and WHY it works.

Simple ways to do this, first off start with some example of you or people who have used your product/ service and how it worked for them. Show you putting it to use or show you implementing the strategies you are going to teach!

The other thing that is very helpful when showing them "why" is explaining why it works. Why is it different than other things that are out there? Is it the system that makes their life easier? Better quality? Why should they buy from you rather than someone else, who might be cheaper?

Very good things to think about and include when focusing on what to add to your marketing strategy or advertising video for Facebook or social media.
And that's a wrap on this part of the blog, I'll have a follow up blog to this one in a few days, so stay tuned and let me help you dive deeper into online marketing!
