Welcome back all! If you follow us on Instagram than you are sure to know ho much we believe in both the power of morning routines and routines at night. And if you don't follow us on Instagram be sure to check us out on Instagram here, you wont regret is..(a little shameless plug :) ) The routines that we create set us up for a powerful day in the morning and then in the evening they help us reflect on the day and move even father down the path to success in the coming days. The goal for this blog post is not only to show you what the best (in our opinion) morning routine consists of but also what is in my personal morning routine and the few resources to help you with your routines. Yes, you read that right, the morning routine is what this blog post is about and we will make another one on the best night routines and what is on my routine is. What The Best Morning Routine Consists Of...Okay before we get started on what we think the best routine consists of, lets be real here.. any of these tips and tools CAN work if you let them. Not all of these tips and tools will work for everybody but there are a few that will work for you, it is your job to figure out which ones those are. So try them out for a week, see what is working in your morning routine and what isn't, the adapt from there. Now to the good stuff... In our opinion, as well as many others, the best morning routine consists of visualization, reviewing your goals, meditation, some form of exercise, and learning. This seems like a lot but it can make a world of difference in how effective (not busy) your day is, and if you really break it down, the routine can be done in 30-60 minutes in the morning. Yes, that might mean waking up a little earlier but if you can't do that do you really want that dream life that bad? Now Let's Break Down This Morning Routine..Starting with some visualization, there are a few options we can use to do this and barely take any extra time in the morning doing so. Those two options are taking a few minutes, right away when you wake up & before you do anything, to start visualizing where you plan to be in 1, 5, and 10 years and then wake up with those fresh in your mind. The other option, for those more on a time crunch, is to visualize while showering in the morning, doing the same thing as you would right when you wake up but in the shower instead. make sure your future is the only thing in your mind when you visualize. Next up is to review your goals... and this is not creating new goals daily but rather rewriting your goals for the week, month, year, etc, in order to keep them fresh in your mind. Try either writing the goals down each morning or just reviewing them.. figure out what works best to see the vision as you work throughout the day. Also, meditation is one of the best hings you can add to your morning routine. It helps to get you in the right frame of mind and can be done at the same time as when you visualize. Meditation can be done through breathing exercises where you only focus on your breathing or even other common practices such as these (click here to learn more). We really only recommend mediation if you have time and it works for you, it is really effective if it can work for you but many feel as it doesn't... just try it out. Another one of the most important things a morning routine can have is some form of exercise. When you exercise in the morning it helps you wake up and get the energy we need to start the day off effectively. It is one of the first things people put off when they get busy so do it right in the morning and you won't be able to put off the workout later. Working out in the morning helps give us the energy to be effective in the morning, which is when we want to do the most important stuff because we are less likely to put it off. And working out makes you feel fricken amazing!!:) Do what you can in the morning and what you have time for, from pushups and situps to a full blown workout at a gym, decide what works for you. Finally, another one of the most important parts of a morning routine, learning. Learn in the morning becasue just like working out, it is one of the first things that gets pushed off the plate when we are busy but is one of the most important parts of our success. When we stop learning that is when our success slows and we are not the go to guy in our niche anymore, don't let that happen, learn about business and your niche daily. The best ways to learn in the morning is through books when you wake up, articles on the internet based around your niche, articles on online magazines such as Entrepreneur or Inc. and finally, one of our best ways which is through podcasts on your morning drive. Just figure out what works for you try out every form of these for days and then see what makes the most impact in your day. Our Morning Routine..We know this is all you guys have been waiting for, the morning routine that we us to help jump start our day each and everyday.. It is definitely nothing really special but it helps us! We encourage you to take ours to heart, try out some of the techniques that we use and others that we recommend and find what works for you... this is just what is working for us at the moment. First, we start off each morning right when we wake up, visualizing and going through our goals. I see what I want my life to be like in 5, 10, 25 years and then go over yearly and monthly goals. I don't typically right down my goals more than every once in a while because I found it not to help as much as it does for others. We then go on to workout for 15-30 minutes depending on our schedule as well as either in the gym or just some push ups and sit ups if we are in a hurry. if we end up doing push ups and sit ups then we aim for 100 each, 4 sets of 25 each, in order to get a solid workout in before we start the day. Next, I jump in the shower quick and once I get out and grab a jug of water and breakfast. This is actually one of the best parts of our morning routine as it helps us get the energy we need throughout the day and the water helps us hydrate in the morning. Finally, we do some form of reading which usually involves books, magazines or articles focused on our niche, business or success. This helps us make sure we are learning everyday because I usually get busy and then my learning gets pushed off. **Just a reminder that this is what works for us and you should constantly be trying new routines in order to find out what works for you in the mornings** The Tools To Help Make The Best Morning Routine![]() There are a great amount of tools to help you master certain aspects of the morning routine so lets dive in... The first area where there are tools to help us learn and execute in your morning routine is the are of visualizing and going over your goals. The first tool that can help with our goal setting is a book called The Magic of Thinking Big. In this book we learn how to properly set goals, not small ass goals but goals bigger than we ever thought we could set and then develop the mindset that we need to start taking bigger action on those goals. Another great resource for visualizing is a book called The Third Circle Theory and that helps us to understand ourselves better and observe ourselves throughout the day in order to help us make better decisions relating to our success. This is one of the best books that will teach us the most powerful skill... self-awareness, The other area where tools can help us is in our morning routine is the aspect of learning about business, success and your niche. The tools that we focus on in the mornings to help us learn effectively are podcasts, books and online magazines/ publications. To start off with, the most effective way that we learn every morning is through reading books. Reading is one of the most powerful ways we learn and highly suggest that you do the same, make it a habit and read at least 10-20 pages a day, ideally more but if on a time crunch stick to this. The best business and success books will help us leverage the lessons in life and business of others in order to save yourself time and money. Check out these great books by clicking here >> Another great tool to learn in the morning is through listening to podcasts, whenever you can fit it into your schedule. Some of the best times we have found to listen to these podcasts, other than basic downtime, is while you shower. on your drive to/ from school or work and on breaks you have throughout the day to make sure we are always being productive. Three of our go-to podcasts for these periods of time are The MFCEO Project podcast, where we learn how to become CEO in all areas of our life, The School of Greatness, where Lewis Howes interviews the top athletes and entrepreneurs on their stories and tips for success, Finally The Ask Gary Vee Show is another go to because Gary V (a successful entrepreneur) answers our questions on business and life. These are unbeatable podcasts and we really recommend that you check them out. The final tools that we find beneficial to learning in our morning routine are websites such as Entrepreneur.com, The Wall Street Journal, Foundr Magazine and INC.com. These are just a few of the best website for entrepreneurs to learn. Just start Googling what topics you want to learn adn start diving into some great articles from people just like us. Just remember: try out many different routines and find what works for you. Hope you all enjoyed this and stay tuned for our nightly routine blog post.
