There are all of these strategies out here for internet marketing, Facebook ads and Instagram ads but not everyone is getting the same results.
Why is that?
Because they don't understand concepts outside of how to set up an ad! That is what is holding them back and what I am here to help start teaching you today!
Likely, if you are reading this post, you are either struggling to get results on social media and through internet marketing or you feel like you are missing one piece of the puzzle after learning how to set up an ad!

Focus on Benefits While Selling
One of the most important things, right off the bat here, is to focus on the benefits and the problems you are solving for your ideal customer.
If you are not solving a problem or benefiting the customer in some way, then what is the point of your business?
The bigger the problem you are solving, the more people will pay for it and the more people you will get to buy.
Many people just jump right into the business without sitting down and thinking about this, when that is actually the most important thing you should realize as it will help with your ads, your social media, your website, your blog, your landing pages and more... Just by knowing the problems you are solving!
If you are looking for a way to figure out these problems that you are solving, try this:
#1: Create a list of your ideal customer(s) and write them down in as much detail as you can.
#2: Create another list of these people's 5 largest problems.
#3: Figure out how your product or service solves these 5 major problems in their life.
#4: Figure out how they would feel if they had these problems solved in their life.
#5: Use these emotions and the information to start making content, writing blogs, running ads, etc. You can use this stuff as the backbone to almost anything that you do!
Do The Unexpected to Get Attention
With so many people running ads and creating content now a days, you have to figure out how to stand out from the crowd and get the attention that is getting harder to get.. You can do that by focusing on doing the things that are most unexpected to your ideal customers.
When you do what is unexpected, it catches their attention and makes them stay to read or watch your content!
So, what exactly can you do to capture their attention? According to Billy Gene, there are three ways to do so that all work really well, trust me I tested them as well as many other people!
The first thing is changing your environment of your videos. Just go somewhere that other people don't normally go. Walk outside to a park or cool scenery, go to the mall, do it in the shower (from the head up)... just figure out somewhere unique and go for it!
Just look at the famous "here in my garage video" where Tai Lopez simply went out to his garage and filmed the video with his iPhone!
The other way to do the unexpected is to use props! Use something crazy, like the environment thing, the more crazy the better!
That is why people use money guns and giant checks, they demand attention!
Finally, try adding music to your ads! This will mostly just work for videos for content as you ad will likely get taken down for copyright, but there is a way around this and a few websites I can share with you if you wanna shoot me an email-- email@example.com!
Using Scarcity.. The Right Way
Okay the next few are going to be short sections becasue they are pretty self explanatory, but just as important as the other two sections so stay listening!
Scarcity, I'm sure you have heard how well it works and that you should use it on all of your pages.
"have a count down"
"say there are only a few left"
That is true... only kind of. Consumers have gotten smarter and they don't have any reason to believe that there is only a few left, especially for a digital product, so wat do you do then?
Simple answer, tell them WHY it is scarce... can only a certain number of people know the strategy to make sure it works? Did you only print a certain number of copies?
Give them a reason to believe you, it will work much better!
Telling YOUR Story, A Relate-able One
Why do people buy the same things that their friends buy? Or why do they buy from people with large social media followings?
Because people buy from who they trust. Build their trust and they will buy.
How do you do that though? Simple, tell YOUR STORY and make sure you emphasize the relate-able parts such as your favorite hobbies or why you started and what PROBLEMS YOU WERE FACING.
People relate really well to a good story with problems and situations they also face, so focus on those things and think about your ideal customer when telling your story.
Another thing that will build their trust is to give them a reason to buy your product. WHY should they buy from you and not someone else?
What do you do different or how do you solve their problems better?
Also, including testimonials is a great way to build trust... don't have any customers for testimonials yet?
Easy, do work for free until you have enough testimonials, it will help build your worth and your skills at the same time too!
Educate and Entertain
The two things that will bring people the most value through your content, educate them on a topic you are knowledgeable about or entertain them in some way, make them smile!
Break down any page's content that you follow and realize that all of their content, if they have a large following, either educates people or entertains them in some way or another.
It is not rocket science! Just give them a reason to follow you!

What Isn't Working On Social Media in 2018
Pretty much most strategies that were working on social media, specifically Instagram, are not working as well this year as they have in the past.
The new Instagram algorithm is cracking down on "engagement groups" and this is not getting the results that it used to. The groups may help a little but the algorithm Instagram has now is recognizing who is in these groups and not pushing the posts in them with "fake engagement" to the top of news feeds.
Hashtags are also still working but just not as well as they used to. This is for one simple reason, the large number of people using this strategy. Posts are just getting drown out by all of the other posts in those hashtags. You can be relying only on hashtags to be found now, you have to go get your name known.
The final strategy I am going to touch on that isn't working as well is just simply posting content. This goes along with the hashtag strategy because you used to be able to just post 3 times a day with solid hashtags and get found.
Now it is not enough to just post content, you have to go out and be part of the community, that is what is working on social media in 2018.
What Does Work On Social Media?
Going back to its roots and using social media how it was meant to be used, that is what is working.
Not trying to "hack" the algorithm on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, not trying to find little strategies or tips. Now, what is working is putting the work to go out and get noticed.
Social media was created to be a community of people who have the same interests engaging, liking, commenting, retweeting, sharing ,etc on each others content!
The strategy that works is simply just engaging with people in the community, large and small accounts and popular ad recent posts.
Leaving your thoughts, questions, insights, etc on other people's posts and simply just getting your name out there.
You have to start actively getting your name out there and not just expecting people to come to you.
Make your name so known out, be all over on social media posting and engaging, that they can't ignore you and are forced to go and check out your profile.
This will work better than any "hacks" on social media at the moment, trust me just try it out and see for yourself!

Why Does This Social Media Strategy Work?
This works. Hands down.
Because you aren't trying to trick the social media algorithm on the platform or hack your way to more followers and likes.
You are just using the platforms the way that they are supposed to be used and leveraging that.
You are also not using those "fake comment bots" and trying to hack the system that way leaving comments like "nice post" or "love it." You are leaving thoughtful comments that inform, entertain or educate and getting people to notice you.
The only way this strategy will work though is if YOU out in the work. A few hours a day engaging and connecting with people, cut back on the XBox or Netflix and start focusing on this.
If you are trying to find a way to work less, you just aren't going to see results in anything in life. You can't try ad find the shortcut for everything in life because success takes work.
Don't work and don't see results, pretty simple. Everyone is out there looking for the quick way to grow on these platforms when the "quick" way to gain real followers in as few months as possible take the most amount of time.
People want real followers, real engagement, a lot of followers and with little work. That just isn't how it works.
Put in the work and you will see the growth!
How To Start Acting on This Strategy
Sold on the strategy now? How about I show you how to start taking action on this strategy because you could have the best strategy but if you don't act on it you won't get anywhere in life.
Time to start taking action and not spending time "planning" and thinking that you are taking action. People get stuck planning for years and then never taking real action to materialize those plans.
The first thing I want to say about taking action on this strategy is that you have to leave comments that entertain, educate or provide your insights. You can just leave basic comments, that is the best way to make this strategy NOT work. So, whenever I say "leave comments" this is what I'm talking about, not just any kind of comments.
So, here is where you can start...
Go to large accounts in both your niche and a few from your passions/ interests and find recent posts that you can relate to or leave a solid comment on and start commenting. Don't just do this once, try to comment on a good number of their most recent posts for each account.
Next, go to the top hashtags in your niche and start doing the same thing. comment on say the top 10-20 posts in the top 20 hashtags in your niche.
You can also comment on the most recent posts in that niche to get your name out there a little more.
I don't usually share this tip but another great tip is to go to your followers and start commenting and engaging on their posts. This is both a way to get their attention and have them pay more attention to your page as well as say "thank you" for following you.

Well, it is most likely due to a lack of discipline and habits that are holding you back. These two things control your life because they control the actions you are taking on a daily basis.
How do you start improving your results, energy, mindset and just habits in general?
It all comes down to the first and last hour of the day. The habits and discipline you have during those hours drive the habits and discipline for the rest of the day or the next day.
This blog I am going to focus on the habits and routines for the beginning of the day as those might be the most important since they set the momentum for the day.

The First Hour of The Day
The most important part of your day? The morning.
It sets up the rest of your day for success. It creates the mindset you are going to have for the day, the feeling/ mood you are in and just gets the momentum rolling towards your daily success.
If you start the day off right you are going to feel better, have a more solid plan of action for the day and start to get more done each and every day.
Not just get more done, but get more done towards your goals.
The plan of action you walk through for your day in the morning might be the most important thing you do all day. You can prioritize what to do during the day, plan it out and start acting on that plan so that you are getting the most important things done first.
If you don't create this plan of action in the morning, or at least go over it in the morning, you are not going to have purpose behind what you are doing.
You won't have a reason for every action that you take and ultimately you will just be in the mindset of letting life happen to you and not really taking action with a purpose.
Letting life happen to you is a for sure way to get no where fast, let me tell you from personal experience!
Why Habits Control Your Life
Habits control every aspect of our life, whether you realize it or not. Every action you take in a day is based around a habit that YOU have developed. So, essentially if you are not getting anywhere in life it is nobody's fault but YOURS becasue your habits got you to where you are today.
Think about it... sleeping in too long? Not working enough? Not going to the gym? Eating too much? Watching too much TV?
All because you have developed these habits, it is what your body is used to and gravitates towards! Whenever you try and fix these actions after a week or so you just fall back into the same pattern.
Because that is what you have trained your body to do.
Think about this. If you train your body to eat right, wake up early, get work done, make money, create relationships, etc, wouldn't your life be so much better?
All it takes is your realization that you need to rewire your brain and then start actually acting on that thought so you can start rewiring yur brain day by day.
Stop thinking this can change overnight because when you don't see results you are going to stop trying to change your habits.
Try for the next month, to change the habits you hate and see how much easier it is. The "urges" will be gone because they were just habits in the first place and when you replace them they disappear.

Health Habits to Improve Your Mind
So what are some of these habits and where should you start? Well, everyone is different but where I started was a pretty good place and that was starting to improve my mindset.
Your mindset controls your habits, so that is why I decided to start here.
Every time I would try and change my habits, I would just fall back to where I was before because my mind wasn't in the right place.
Here Is what I did to start improving my mindset.
I started off focusing on improving my mind as a muscle, everyday. What does that mean? Exercising it as a muscle, just like you would train a different muscle group in the gym, I started to train my mind.
I did this my focusing on my mind throughout the day.
I would start the day hydrating my brain, with a large glass of water right away in the morning, since the brain is made up of mostly water. Then, I would do breathing exercises and focus on deep breathing to calm down and focus my mind.
I would also not use my phone for the first hour of the day to get my mindset focused before starting to be reactive to what was happening during the day.
The final thing I started to do start focusing on my mindset was to do games, such as wordscapes, crosswords, brain training, etc on my phone to help keep my brain sharp and thinking outside of the box. This has helped so much and would be the first thing to try when looking to improve your mind.
As for the mindset goes, I will give you some guidelines but mindset is a more personal issue that you are going to have to figure out on your own because I don't know your story.
The first thing to try is going to be to set a specific goal for your life, like really specific. If you are just focusing on a general goal of having like a big house or a Lamborghini, you aren't going to work as hard as you would with a specific goal.
Start thinking about the exact house you want, the exact location (like which street not just a city), how it is going to feel, what will success smell like, what would your days look like?
Sounds crazy but it works. You will start to develop the habits you would need if that was your life and then you slowly start building that life for yourself.
The next thing to do is to put emotions behind the goals you have, this will help you develop a fear mindset and not want to go back to where you were in the past.
What do I mean by this? Well let's say you were broke at a certain point in life and wanted to buy something your girlfriend wanted but couldn't get it for her so you felt like you couldn't provide.
That would feel pretty shitty, wouldn't it?
So, use that emotion of how you felt and use that as a fear to put behind your goals. You never want to feel like that again, so you are going to do what it takes to not have to feel that way again. That is how I started building the habit of eating right and working out, I was tired of being the skinny kid and how it made me feel.
Finally, an important mindset and visualization technique I used to start creating a better version of me was to figure out the exact version of myself I wanted and started to act like I was there already.
Figured out the habits I wanted, the feelings and mindset I wanted and the daily actions I wanted.
Then I tricked my mind into thinking I was there already by purposely doing these things on a daily basis and essentially "faking it until I made it" and created these habits in my life.
Productivity/ Business Morning Habits
So, what can you do in the morning to both set yourself up for success that day as well as success everyday from here on out?
Start with that first hour of your day and do the things that are most important, build that momentum for the rest of your day.
Put away that phone and start thinking for yourself that first hour. Don't get distracted or influenced by things on your phone. This helps you create your own viewpoints and thoughts around subjects in life and business, without being influenced as much as you would be with your phone.
The next thing is to plan out your day, I do it both on the small level (hour by hour) as well as by listing the larger projects that need to get done during the day to get closer to my goals. By having the hour by hour break down it helps me stay on track and be able to finish the larger projects I need to that day because it gives me an idea where I should be at each hour of the day.
Next, start visualizing yourself taking action successfully on each thing on your list to do for that day.
This helps you be less reactive to things that happen during the day and stay focused on how you should be taking action and how you want it to be done successfully in order to reach those daily goals.
Finally, the most important thing is to write down both 5 goals you have long and short term, to keep them in the front of your mind, and write down 5 things you are grateful for. By writing down what you are grateful for, you get thinking on a different and more positive level compared to waking up and thinking about all your problems right away.

Know Your Target Audience
The first step to creating a successful Facebook ad campaign is to know your target audience.
As I talked about above, Facebook is one of the best ways to market your business because it will get your ad in front of ONLY the people you want to see it. That is, if you know how to use the platform right.
If you don't have the right target audience, your budget is just going to be wasted and the people that your ad reaches aren't even going to click through to your sales page or content. It will just be wasted marketing dollars.
The first thing you want to do is determine both broad and specific interests that people have in your niche. Think outside of the box like if you are in the rap music business you might want to target some street wear audiences as the two niches have a very obvious overlap!
Also, try and target people who have already bought products in your niche by adding the interest of a certain product in your niche. if they have already spent money on similar products or services, they are more likely to spend more money in the same niche.
A great example of this is say you are selling dog collars, you could target people with the interest of other dog products such are balls or dog toys. This shows they have interest or ave purchased these in the past and are more inclined to buy.
Mix some of these smaller interests with larger ones and aim for a target audience of a couple million people that have interests in those niches. Any smaller and you might not reach as many people, any larger and your ad might get lost in the sea of similar ads!
Targeting these smaller interests is what is going to help your ad stand out!
Try Video Ads
The next thing you want to focus on is the ad content, specifically the image. If you are trying image ads and they aren't working as well as you would like them to work, there are two things you should try.
First, find an image with a picture of your face, yes your face, and use that for your ad. Even better, create a new image that is related to your ad and includes your face and use that for the ads.
People relate to faces and trust faces more than just a random image. So when you are putting up ads, make sure there is a face for people to relate to and they are also more likely to stop and look/ click on an ad with a face on it.
If you are looking to step your ads up ANOTHER level, try a video ad. Bring your personality into the video and explain how you can help people. This works for website landing page as well, videos have a huge impact and help people really learn.
They are more inclined to stop and watch your video than they are to stop and read a long piece of writing!
Try a video ad and you will almost certainly get more impressions and a higher click through rate!

Before dumping all or your marketing budget into one ad, why not find out which one is going to actually work?
What if I told you that there is a way to actually do that? Figure out which ad is actually going to work and get traction...
Well, there is and it is pretty simple. You just have to create three ads that you think will perform well and test all three before putting significant money behind them.
Start with creating the three ads and one target audience, then put $5-$20+ behind each ad (depending on your marketing budget) and see which one is performing the best, getting the most views and getting the most engagement and click troughs.
You want the amount of money you put behind an ad to be pretty small compared to the overall budget so you have more money to run the ads that work. I would also suggest not going below $5 to test because anything lower and you can't really get a good look at how much traction an ad will get.
Also, if you are looking to test out audiences as well, you can do the same thing, running a single ad and using different audiences to target for the ad. This will show you which audience is responding and engaging the best for the ad!
Where To Link Ads To
One of the most important parts of the ad, but often overlooks is where the actual ad is linking to.
To determine this, you have to figure out what your overall goal is for the ad, are you trying to sell a product or are you trying to get views to your content.
If you are trying to get views to your content, make sure the page you are linking to is a specific piece of content and not just a general "blog" on your website.
This type of ad, for general content, is good because it allows you to retarget the people that engaged with the ad the first time and sell to them as they are more likely to buy if they already engaged with the ad once!
If you are running an ad that is selling a product, make sure it is linking to a landing page that explains more (ideally through a video) and then has a purchase page as well. I can't tell you the amount of ads I have seen that just like to a website.
Like how am I supposed to know where to go to buy your product if you just link to the website?
Create a landing page and funnel your customer to the sales page!

Well, I have been through all those situations, and they sucked!! Like it was frustrating and stressful!
So, I started to research some more strategies like I would in the past, when I came across the Gary Vaynerchuk $1.80 Instagram strategy.
This is where you leave a real and genuine comment on the top 9 posts in the top 20 hashtags in your niche. And it started to work.
This is when everything clicked, I wasn't using social media the way it was supposed to be used and that's why nobody was engaging on my profile. And so many people are making this mistake everyday.
I was posting content and just assuming people would find it or even care about it without me doing anything. And then just posting more content to get more followers, and it started to not work.
The way social media was supposed to be used was to engage as a community, not spam he community.
You have to get involved in your niche, get your name out there, give people a reason to care and just put in the work.
That is what this blog is all about!
Give A Shit About Your Community
The first reason people don't find success in getting the people in their community to engage on their profile is that they don't give a shit about the people following them.
They see the increase in followers, or even the followers they already have, as just anther number they are trying to grow. They don't realize that each of those "numbers" is a person that you have the ability to impact.
So, even with just a couple hundred or a couple thousand followers, you can have an impact on so many people and create so may relationships with just that "small" numbers of followers.
Each number is a person, so start giving a shit about them.
Start thanking them for following you, start giving them value and entertaining them and start just start engaging with them and answering questions for them on your profile.
This is the biggest mindset shift because once you realize this, you have so many opportunities that you are just waiting to realize.
Provide Something of Value
So, once you realize you have to give a shit about your followers, how do you start showing that?
Other than some engagement and thanking them for following, you have to give them a reason to follow your page and stay followed to your page. You have to give them something of value.
That "value" can be either educating them on your niche, entertaining them, giving them free stuff (sometimes), bringing your personality into your page, offering tips and strategies, or pretty much anything that could help or entertain your followers.
You can't just do this once either, you have to give them a reason to keep following you. So, this means you have to keep providing content and value to your audience. Each and everyday.
They will in turn become more engaged on your page and you will start standing out compared to other pages in your niche!

Give Without Expecting Anything In Return
When you are providing this value, answering questions, and helping people that follow you, you have to give to them without expecting anything in return.
You can't expect them to buy from you or anything right after you give them some value. That means right after posting one strategy or tip on your social media, you can just go for the ask at the bottom of the caption.
Instead... give, give, give and then every 3-4 posts you can go for the ask.
I see this with so many accounts that they just try and post a million ads trying to sell things to their followers and they first of all don't give them a reason to buy from them. Also, this is spammy an is just going to make people unfollow their accounts.
Focus on giving more than you are asking for and you are going to see massive results on social media when you are actually giving something of value.
Become the "Go-To" Guy In Your Niche
The final way that I am going to talk about increasing engagement is through becoming the "Go-To" guy in your niche, so that your social media accounts are the first place someone goes when they are interested in your niche or if they are looking to get a question answered in the niche.
How do you do this you might ask?
Through two ways, putting out massive amounts of content and being on all platforms.
When you are putting out content, you want to focus on putting out valuable content that is quality and answers any questions people might have in you niche. That way if they have a question, they can find your accounts and get a GOOD answer to that question. Or be entertained at the same time too!
Finally, you want to be on a majority of the major social media platforms (and I would also recommend a blog) because you never know where someone in your niche is going to be looking for content and find you.
Focus on quantity of content as well as depth and quality of that content because if you just have a lot of bad content, that doesn't provide much value, then even if people find your accounts, they won't stick around and follow or consume anymore.
First impressions mean everything and you never know what is going to be the first piece of content that someone finds of yours, so make sure whatever that content is, that it is quality and makes them want to stick around!

I was getting no real results in any area of my life through this new year, and as usual my "new years resolution" wasn't changing much because it wasn't really a goal, it was just an idea.
That is when I decided that I was sick of not getting any results and I wanted to start seeing results. To be honest, I was pretty lazy so I decided that I wanted to build discipline into my life and if I started in the gym, which I always had dabbled at but never took seriously, maybe it would translate into other areas of my life.
So, I put emotion behind the goal of becoming more disciplined and getting stronger in the gym because I was always the "skinny kid" and hated when people said that. The best goals have emotions and reasons behind them, put the emotion of how you felt when people said something to you and use that as motivation so you never have to feel like that again.
I started to plan out my exercises, started to time my rests, started focusing on form and even tracking what I ate.
And the results didn't come right away, on the end of my body at least because just like building a business, it is a process that you have to accept. Results don't happen overnight.
What I did start to notice though were the results in other areas of my life. This habit of taking the gym seriously started to build discipline into my life and then that translated to other areas too.
I actually wanted to start building discipline into other areas of my life, as it was making me feel really good being disciplined in the gym.
So, I started with my education and started making it a point to read books and articles in my niche and just about life in general for a few hours each day.
I then started to focus on using that discipline to block out my time each day, get more work done, network with more people and start putting out more content.
It has really made the biggest difference thus far in my life, I really hope you all try it out too!
