You might catch yourself asking this question more times than you would like. Maybe you see other people taking trips or you even just want to be comfortable after paying rent this month. Well, you stumbled upon the right blog post here, I think I can help you and don't worry, you won't be selling drugs. We all could use a few extra hundred dollars per month, whether to pay off some bills or debt or even to start traveling more (the best reason). But, we all don’t have a ton of skills right now or a ton of time to build a business. Plus, seems like there are millions of “shopify stores” and stuff like that out there but you really don’t want to do that. Instead of giving up on a side income, try this thing I have been doing for four years throughout high school and college, reselling. It shows how simple it is to start as I have been doing it after going to school all day in high school and college while also working a job. Why This Is The Side Income for YouA Side Income With A Low Barrier to Entry, Low Startup Costs and No Skills Needed. There are so many side incomes and businesses that you really need some skills already before starting otherwise, you won’t be able to many any money. For example, say you have never done construction before, you are not going to be able to take up a side income of building outdoor patios for people. Not with reselling though, all you need is a phone, a car and a couple of accounts on apps! Plus, while you are starting to resell, you can build skills such as sales and marketing that will transfer to the next focus in your life. Just think about it, no matter what area of life you look at, sales and marketing are essential. You won’t be able to get a potential partner or even land a job if you are not able to sell yourself someone you meet or a future employer. Build skills, earn income and start using that little extra to start experiencing more of life. How to Get Started Making That Extra $100 This WeekYou Really Don't Need Much To Get Started. Like I said above, you really don’t need anything to get started just a phone, a car (or a ride from someone) and a few free apps to download. The basics of this strategy are essentially finding stores that have discount goods, or even using Craigslist, Garage sales, Facebook Marketplace or other apps for local sales and then picking up products at cheap prices that you are able to sell online or locally. Examples of products could be old phones, electronics, clothes, shoes, etc. I find that accessories usually sell very well for me! If you do your research and figure out what things are selling for online, it’s pretty easy to figure out what price you need to get it at in order to make a profit. The first week or two is always the most time consuming as you are trying to find what products you want to sell and what they sell for, but once you get the hang of it, you can research in just a couple of minutes or less and quickly make a decision on whether it is worth buying or not. Start by researching what stores are near you right now and then come back for the strategy in the next section. Stores to look for would be Goodwill, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross and even look what your area has on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. x
If You Are Going to Start Selling Online, Watch Out For These ScamsThe Simple Strategy You Can Start UsingStep by Step To Start Making More Money This Week. Once you have the stores locked own, or garage sales, time to start looking for specific items. Ideally, start with the areas you know, for example, I used to buy a lot of shoes so that is where I started reselling. Once you have a potential item, go on eBay and search for that product, either by product number or by name of the product and see how well it is selling. You want to first see the amount per day that are selling and if only one is selling every few weeks then it might not be worth your time to buy. Do this by filtering your search results on eBay by “sold listings.” Then, look at the price it is selling for and if you would be able to turn a profit, keep in mind the 10% eBay fees and 3% PayPal fees if you are going to sell it on there and not locally. Once you find a handful of items, just list them for sale on apps like eBay, Facebook, Craigslist and Offerup. Then you just wait for the best notification ever, your first sale! Be sure to watch out for the scams when you are selling online, I made a guide for you to be able to do just that as I have lost too much money to scammers!
