Download Our FREE Guide To Start Your Website & Start Dominating OnlineHey guys back at it!! Was on a little weekend trip to California an started seeing a ton of questions online about people wondering if they should go to college or not.. So, we thought we could give you a few of our thoughts on the topic and possibly get a fresh outlook on the topic of going to college or not going to college and how it could help you and not help you. For obvious reasons this is a blog post focused around entrepreneurship, entrepreneurs and business minded people, as those are the people hat have the most questions around this subject.. but if we can help anyone else out there, we are glad to help out:) let's get to it... Our Thoughts On CollegeHonestly, it can be a great choice for some and then slow some others down on the journey to their success as it can hold you back from your dreams. Anyone that is looking for a job or don't really know what they want to do yet, college is a great choice, to get you some connections and relationships that you wouldn't have had if you didn't go to college. Relationships have to be one of the most important parts of going to college as well as the connections you can get out of there. Whether you end up starting a business or doing your own thing after getting out of college, then these relationships can be priceless and you never know when you could use the connections they give you in the future as you move on, on the path of entrepreneurship. But if you actually have an idea of what you want to do or are already making money doing what you are doing already, college can just add to the burden and slow you down as it will put so much more onto your plate that you don't really need if you have the drive and the vision. College is a great choice actually when you aren't taking on a huge financial burden, whether that means going to a smaller school or having your family/ scholarships pay for a large chunk of your college while you figure out what the future holds for you. Check out he book through the link below to start getting your mind focused on the right shit and start thinking on new levels: Should You Go To College? Most likely, yes, for now at least while you figure things out.. We only say that because the majority of people who ask this question are looking for an easy way out to get rich quick and drop out of college but that is the exception as success takes many years. The most important part of answering this question is do you have a real plan to build something that will last and are you making money yet? If not, go to school while you build and drop out or take a break whenever you feel the need to do so once you grow to a level that requires you to do so... Especially if you are not taking a huge financial burden going to school! Even a gap year to focus solely o your business and see what you actually have to make it can be a great option... just work on the side at a day job and then hustle on your business for another 8+ hours a night to start building... Have To Go To College To Satisfy The Parents?Ok so the simple answer here could be to just go against the family and show them that you do have what it takes but that is not always the option... so this is our thoughts and how we use school. School should be focused around learning what you are truly passionate about, whether that be on the side or in classes, say hungry and motivated by just focus on learning what you want to learn. This could be just straight up zoning out in class to plan your business, dream, work or learn about your niche or it could be on the side... just keep learning so you don't have to fall into the rat race like so many people do! Do what we did: find the bare minimum work and what you need to do to get through school, cheat the system and only do that.. you can pass the class with bare minimum work while you spend all your time focused on executing on your visions! One of the most important ways we found to use the school system is to work on your people skills and solely focus on building your relationships because you never know when you might need them or their skills in the future! Focus on first developing your people skills through speaking in class and getting comfortable talking to others as this is an essential skill to learn and grow in business in order to communicate your ideas! Finally, start building relationships and getting to know as many people as you can with and without similar interests so that you can grow your list of contacts and just people you know as you never know who could help you in the future whether it be in business or life! Hope you guys learned something or gained some insights on how we think school and college should be thought about... just remember this:
Thanks for the continued support guys and if you feel this helped at all please let your friends know!
