What's up hustlers?! Another great post based around one of our favorite books called, Made To Stick, but this time it is going to be how to take the ideas from this book and implement them into your social media marketing strategy! The book, Made To Stick, goes over 6 of the best ways to get your ideas to stick with your customers in order to improve the marketing results you are seeing. We will be breaking down each of these 6 core ideas an explain how you can start to implement them into your own social media marketing strategy. So, are you ready to take that social media game to the next level and figure out how to REALLY get the results your are looking for through your social media marketing? SimplicityRule number uno.. more like lesson number uno is to keep it simple. Make it easy to understand your story, your message and what value you offer to your customers. Honestly, if it takes they too long to understand or what you offer is just confusing the they won't care and just move on. Make it simple and easy to remember so that they actually remember your business and come back when they need your services! We actually had problems with this at first until we made our message eve more clear and crafted it into us doing the research for you to connect you with the best business resources for you and your business. Since changing we have seen great results as others are understanding what we do. Learn from us and don't make that mistake. UnexpectednessBoom, favorite one right here.. Make it so unexpected that they are forced to notice it. If they are expecting it then they are likely to just glance over it... but if they have no idea if its coming and it grabs their attention, they will look more into what you are offering! Make content that is not like other out there, there are millions of quote accounts over on Instagram so make sure you are giving people a reason to follow, they won't follow just because of your good looking quotes anymore! Make your messages add value to their lives and give them a reason to follow, this is unexpected... more quotes is not the answer because those are expected!! ConcretenessEasy to remember, that's the key... nobody has time to read and remember you giant ad that they saw somewhere... odds are they are very unlikely to remember your ad. Allow your customers to make a connection to what you are doing, whether that be a connection to your story or brand. That is how they remember it because it is related to other memories they have so it's easier for them. Make a connection to other things already in their memory, whether that be through a story your post tells or through a problem that they are having and you are solving. This relates very well to the topic of keeping it simple because when something is simple is it concrete and easy to remember and relate to is some way or another... CredibilityYou have to know what you are talking about.... best way to do this? Through telling stories of what you have been through in your niche to show that you are actually practicing what you preach. This gives you credibility. People buy from those they trust and how are they supposed to trust you if you don't give them the credibility to do so. Tell personal stories based on what you are selling them and tell them why they should trust you. Relationships also build trust and a great way to form relationships is to DM people on Instagram and start helping them solve their problems. This shows them that you know what you are talking about because you helped them and it worked. They then can go and tell their friends and start spreading the word about you! EmotionalPeople buy becasue of emotions, make your posts convey emotions such as inspiration (not just through quotes!!!!!!), hope for the future, etc. Have them visualize what their life would be like when they solve the one problem they are having and show them how you can do that for them. This is the best way that we have found to work on social media as it helps them see what their life could be like or how it could be easier so they can focus more on their family. This is what sells, hit the emotions in your posts that make them take action. A great way we do this is through our other blog posts or stories on social media that tell stories because those are the most effective way to convey an emotion... Tell stories and hit the right emotions. Show them how their life can improve with your products/ services! StoriesThe final and one of the most effective ways on social media to build relationships, credibility and trust in your customers is through telling stories. Stories help us to do all of the other tips here, in one post! They help to build your credibility because it shows you have walked the walk in your niche and know what you are talking about. This builds trust and people buy from who they trust :) Stories, as mentioned above, can also covey emotions easier because it gives a story one behind the blog or social media post that makes it more relatable and thus easier to remember... Two ways to implement stories, that we actually use, are linking out to your website and blog from your social media to show where you story is. Or also on platforms such as Instagram or Facebook where you have have an attention grabbing picture and then the caption you can put a short story that people can relate to you and that relates to the message/ lesson you are trying to convey.
