Why Are You So Stressed? It comes with the day and age we live in, that doesn't mean you can't change it though... It just seems to be the "norm" recently, being so stressed and it is almost like people are bragging about it. That just blows my mind. What is exactly causing stress in your life? Well I am sure you already know or at least have a good idea, but in case you are really in the dark, these are some off the main causes of stress I have seen and experienced myself.
Image: Young Post What Stress Does to Your Mind and BodyA lot more than you think. Obviously it is nothing good, and I'm sure you are experiencing this first hand right now if you are reading this article. When we carry years of built up stress, without addressing it, it takes up space in our minds that could be used for more productive and positive thoughts. Even if you don't realize if you are carrying this stress, you could subconsciously be hurting yourself and your mindset from years of unaddressed stresses. With all this space taken up by stress in your subconscious mind, what exactly does this do for your thinking and body? Well, first off your thoughts are going to be hazy, with all of these distractions in your mind. You will not really be able to focus on one thing or whatever you are working on. This leads to distractions and then you start thinking that distractions are your problem, when in reality it is the subconscious stress in your life. What else does this stress do? Your brain is constantly full of thoughts, especially when you are stressed, and this is going to lead to lack of ideas and lack of action because you just can't stay focus or think about one topic deeply. This is where your life can start to suffer as results might decline in school or work. if you are experiencing this right now, I would highly suggest you look at the stress in your life and not just try to study or work more. The good news? You can do something about this starting RIGHT NOW. Why Most People Don't Solve Their Stress Problem"Too busy" is not an excuse. There really is only one answer for this, because people think that they are "too busy." In reality they are just prioritizing the wrong things. It doesn't take more than a half hour to an hour each day to focus on your mindset and stress, yet for some reason people think they have no time to do so. This is the most common daily practice from some of the top CEO's, from meditation to taking a walk, and I can almost guarantee that you are not more busy than they are. We just fill our days with tasks that aren't as important, but they make us feel busy so we keep doing them. I do it, you do it, we all do it. This is one of the best things you can work on in order to free up a lot more time for yourself during the day. How to Start Getting Rid of Your StressYes, you don't have to constantly be living stressed out. You can actually start getting rid of and calming this pattern of stress in your life, crazy right? And it is not going to require you to quit your job and go meditate for three years in order to do so, you can actually do it effectively in a short period of time each day.
